Big Robo

This was my very first and very disastrous robot-project.
An old computer should control this monster.
I knew nothing about real-time systems or about controlling a motor (what is PWM?).
The result was something that moved, more or less.

But the experience of this project was the basis for all future works.


Experience:
  • How to etch boards.
  • What an increment wheel is like to do.
  • Simulation of schematics with PSpice.
  • The advantage of modular design.
  • And:
    Start with small projects!
